Your Gateway to Member Programs and Services

By Deborah Adams

The AABB Action Center offers access to products and services for all Annual Meeting attendees, including AABB members and customers. Drop in during registration hours for information about AABB.

Are you looking for a new career or for a stellar employee? Visit the center to post your resume or submit a job description on AABB’s CareerLink, the leading online job bank for transfusion medicine professionals. AABB staff will be available to walk you through its features. And take advantage of the 50% discount posting valid through the month of October. Mention promotion code 8CL-AMO.

Are you an inventory manager interested in sharing blood resources? Looking to network and connect with other inventory managers? Visit with the National Blood Exchange staff about your resource-sharing needs.

Open Friday through Tuesday during registration hours in Hall 220E

In the Membership Services area, find out about AABB programs and services, see the newest developments on the AABB Web site, and pick up the latest copy of TRANSFUSION, AABB News and other membership benefits. In addition, pick up an eco-friendly giveaway! The AABB Web site— www.aabb.org —is the centralized resource for many activities. Visit the Action Center to find out about New Orleans, the host city of the 2009 Annual Meeting & TXPO, or to search for a friend in the Membership Directory. It is a great resource for all your informational needs. Do you have questions about AABB’s Accreditation process? Want to know how to give input to AABB Standards? Staff is on-site to answer your questions. AABB has made it even easier to accomplish your training needs and earn CME/CE credits with the Live Learning Center, the enhanced Web portal for AABB educational resources. In addition to offering convenient, anytime access to Annual Meeting and audioconference content, the center provides CME/CE tracking and certification and access to the online Itinerary Planner for use at the Annual Meeting & TXPO.
