TXPO General Information

The AABB Annual Meeting and TXPO 2009 will be held October 24–27, 2009 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.

The AABB Annual Meeting and TXPO is the premier event for transfusion and cellular therapy professionals. This meeting attracts over 7,000 attendees who rely on this event to enhance their educational and technical knowledge, as well as discover the latest innovations with hands-on access to new products, technologies and solutions.

Why Exhibit at TXPO 2009?

  • To gain exposure to an audience comprised of the most influential purchasers in the industry.
  • Showcase your products and solutions to a diverse mix of transfusion and cellular therapy leaders face-to-face.
  • Gain the competitive edge! Don’t let your competitor’s be the ones presenting your customer’s solutions to their challenges.
  • Interact directly and pre-schedule meetings with your top-line valued customers during private designated VIP hours.
  • Return on Investment - Lead Retrieval and Visit Tracker equipment will document and verify booth traffic.  Collection of current contact and demographic information makes follow-up more efficient with every qualified booth visitor.
  • Complimentary meeting registration for the first 10’ x 10’ booth you purchase.  Additional complimentary registrations are accrued at the rate of one registration per four 10’ x 10’ booths purchased.

What Exhibitors Are Saying

“The annual meeting of AABB, and more specifically the TXPO, provides Abbott Diagnostics the opportunity to interact with leading professionals in the area of transfusion medicine. TXPO provides Abbott an excellent setting to showcase new products and profile our latest technology.”

- Mark Mathieson, Marketing Manager – Infectious Disease Products, Abbott Diagnostics

“The AABB Annual Meeting & TXPO is by far the best meeting worldwide for attendance and exposure. ISP has been exhibiting annually since 1992. If we could only exhibit at one meeting, the AABB Annual Meeting & TXPO would be our number one choice.”

- Rose Marie Fairman, Global Marketing Manager, Advanced Materials Group, International Specialty Products

Exhibit Space Assignment Process

In order to ensure appropriate booth assignment, AABB asks that you provide eight preferred booth choices.  AABB reserves the right to make any modifications that may be necessary to best accommodate space requests.

On-site Booth Placement: Advance space reservations were accepted at the 2008 Annual Meeting.  Exhibit contracts for companies that did not participate in the on-site booth placement will be accepted and assigned according to the priority point ranking.

Priority Points: Contracts received after the on-site booth placement were assigned in February. After February, all companies who have submitted a contract will be allocated a booth. If a tie occurs, the date received will determine the order of placement.

How to Receive Priority Points

  • One point for exhibiting.
  • One point for Corporate Affiliate status. Click here to learn more.
  • One point for Platinum level support status.
  • One point for booking 100 percent of your housing with Experient, AABB’s Official Housing Provider, and using rooms within AABB’s housing blocks.

Payment: The balance of the total rental cost is required for booth contracts to be valid when reserving space before May 22, 2009.  Full payment must accompany booth reservation contracts received after May 22, 2009. Booths cannot be held or reserved without the appropriate deposit.  All fees must be paid in U.S. dollars.  Failure to submit full payment by May 22, 2009 will result in immediate forfeiture of your assigned space. Once forfeiture occurs, you will be required to resubmit your application with full payment and be reassigned exhibit space.
