Accessing AABB Forums 

Individual Members

Individual AABB members may first login with their AABB membership username and password 

Institutional Members

Non-individual members employed by a member institution must have or must create an AABB customer account to access the forums.  If you do not have an account, you may create one by clicking on  “Create my Account”. Once you have completed creating an account, email your new customer number along with the name or number of your member institution to membership@aabb.org, please include “Forum Access” in the subject line. Pending review, you will be granted access to the Forums and a confirmation email will be sent within one business day.

ASCC Administrative Forum
This forum provides an opportunity to pose questions, gather and share information regarding administrative operational issues, including administrative policies, personnel and staffing, benchmarking, reimbursement and change management.

ASCC Regulation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance Forum
This forum focuses on regulation, quality control and quality assurance issues, including problem/deviation investigations, blood utilization review, process/change control, validation, and equipment management.

SSCC Blood Center Forum
Issues that involve the recruitment and collection of volunteer donors to the production and distribution of blood products are the focus of this forum.

SSCC Clinical Hemotherapy Forum
Physicians and other AABB members use this forum to post questions regarding transfusion therapy (including hematopoietic progenitor cell therapies), as well as to exchange ideas.

SSCC Technical Practices/Serology Forum
This forum offers opportunities for participants to query, discuss, share and discover information regarding the technical aspects of blood group serology and immunohematology as well the technical/operational aspects of the transfusion service.

SSCC Transfusion Practices and Therapeutic Apheresis Forum
This forum provides nurses, Transfusion Safety officers and other members of the healthcare team with an opportunity to pose questions, gather, and share information regarding blood component administration and patient care for patient undergoing transfusion therapy and/or therapeutic apheresis.
