Available exclusively online, Regulatory Update keeps you informed about regulatory issues and legislation affecting facility operations.  Topics include:  FDA/CBER activities; CMS, regarding reimbursement for blood and blood components; CDC, concerning diseases that may be transmissible by blood; DOT, as it affects the transporting of blood; CLIA; DOL/OSHA; relevant Federal Register notices; newly published guidances; safety concerns; and upcoming regulatory meetings.  “Regulatory Developments in Brief,” a feature of Regulatory Update, was published twice per month.
