Abstract Submissions

Present your research to more than 5,000 colleagues from around the world at the 2017 AABB Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. The Selection of Abstracts Committee is inviting abstract submissions* now through April 27, 2017.

Abstracts will be considered for a 10-minute oral presentation or a poster.

*All submitters who have an accepted abstract are required to attend the Annual Meeting.

Outstanding Abstract Award for Trainees

AABB is awarding ten Outstanding Abstract Awards for Trainees to deserving trainees, decided by peer review and determination of scientific merit and abstract quality. Recipients will receive a $500 award and be recognized for their achievement.

Two trainee awards will be presented in each of the following categories:

  • Undergraduate/Nursing/MLS student
  • SBB student
  • Medical/Graduate student
  • Resident
  • Fellow/Post-Doctoral Scientist

To be eligible, the applicant must be a trainee or have been a trainee within 12 months of the meeting start date. The applicant must also be the first author, who will present the abstract. Submissions will require documentation of eligibility by sponsor.

Top Poster Awards

Top posters will be recognized on site.

Submitters will be receive an email with a unique ID number and password upon initiating an abstract submission. Abstracts and sessions may be viewed and modified at any time between submission and the deadline by following the instructions in the email.
