Networking lays the foundation for you to find your next mentor, career opportunity or professional relationship. The AABB Annual Meeting includes more than 12 focused networking events that make it easy to connect, share your expertise and exchange ideas with the field’s leading minds.

NBF Grant Recipients’ Lecture and Luncheon
Saturday, October 19 | 11:45 am – 1:15 pm

Celebrate scientific investigators who have leveraged National Blood Foundation (NBF) grant funding into successful careers in transfusion medicine and cellular therapies. Several prior grant recipients will discuss their research and the NBF Award for Innovative Research will be presented. Attendees will enjoy a chance to network with colleagues over lunch. Exhibit Hall Opening Reception
Saturday, October 19 | 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Learn more about approximately 150 companies with innovative products and services in the field of transfusion medicine, cellular therapies, patient blood management and related biological therapies while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of great food and music. This will be your first opportunity to see many new products and services in our community while networking with peers and leaders.

NBF Run for Research
Sunday, October 20 | 7:00 am | Sunset Station

Spend a morning with friends and colleagues at the NBF Run for Research and 1-mile walk, reenergizing for the day’s education sessions. Breakfast and prizes are included. Proceeds help support NBF’s mission.

Discuss common challenges and new ideas to better manage the transfusion service laboratory. Topic could include remote storage, managing chaotic events like MTP, equipment validation, audits/assessment, and more. It’s up to you – bring the topics that are top of mind.

Molecular Immunohematology Professionals Networking Event

Whether you are just interested in the topic or immersed in it every day, this is an opportunity to join colleagues to discuss red cell genotyping. If you are new to immunohematology, you can become familiar with a new field and forge professional friendships. AABB Annual Business Meeting & Lunch
