Live Learning Center/Learning Management System

​​AABB has and continues to transition many of its eLearning programs and continuing education/continuing medical education credit programs and certificates to our learning management system, the AABB Education Website. While we work to improve your experience and transition from the Live Learning Center, the following information should assist with knowing where to access/contact for a CE/CME certificate or how to access our various eLearning programs.​

Continuing Education Credit/Continuing Medical Education Credit Certificate

Audioconference/eCast

  • Programs offered prior to 2015 – CE/CME certificates and synced audioconferences are available via the AABB Live Learning Center.
  • Programs offered in 2015 through present day – AABB is working to provide the synced programs for purchase later in 2016. CE/CME certificates will/have been provided via email. AABB will generate certificates based on attendance logs provided by an institution’s host site coordinator and send via email to each attendee as well as provide to the host site coordinator.
    • 2016 & 2017 programs - if you do not receive your certificate within 5 weeks of a live program’s conclusion please contact your host site coordinator. 
    • 2015 programs – please email eLearning@aabb.org. Please include your name, host site coordinator’s institution, program date and program number (or audioconference title) that you are inquiring about.

Webinar

  • If you registered as an individual - CE/CME certificates were provided to individuals via the AABB Education Website (learning management system). You will be required to log in using your AABB access information. Once logged in visit the transcript section to obtain your CE/CME certificate. If you do not see the certificate or there is an issue with the certificate, please email eLearning@aabb.org. Please include your name, AABB ID number (if known), program date and program number (or title) that you are inquiring about.
  • If you participated and signed an attendance log – CE/CME certificates were provided via email to the email address provided on the attendance log. If you do not receive your certificate, please email eLearning@aabb.org. Please include your name, AABB ID number (if known), program date and program number (or title) that you are inquiring about.

Annual Meeting

  • Programs offered prior to 2014 – CE/CME certificates and synced presentations are available via the AABB Live Learning Center.
  • 2014 onward Annual Meetings - CE/CME certificates were provided to individuals via the AABB Education Website (learning management system). You will be required to log in using your AABB access information (see below).

PBM Modules

CE/CME certificates are available in the AABB Education Website (learning management system) for each completed module. You will be required to log in using your AABB access information. Once logged in visit the transcript section to obtain your CE/CME certificate. If you do not see the certificate or there is an issue with the certificate, please email eLearning@aabb.org. Please include your name, AABB ID number (if known), module name and issue you are experiencing.

How to Access

How to Access Annual Meeting CE/CME and a Certificate of Attendance

  1. Direct your web browser to the AABB Education Website (learning management system).
  2. Enter your AABB username and password and click "Login" (if you do not know your username and/or password follow the links to obtain your username and/or password).
  3. Select the day of the session(s) you attended by clicking on the calendar icon for that day.
  4. After clicking on the day of your session, you will see a listing of the sessions you've attended. If none appear, you did not register for any sessions that day.
  5. Click on any one of the courses listed to enter it.
  6. If you have not previously entered your AABB License Number, you will be prompted to do so before continuing to select your credit type.
  7. If you have not yet claimed your certificate for the session you're viewing, you will be prompted to select your credit type. Please select one of the following:
    • CA Nurses
    • CA Lab
    • Physician
    • FL Lab
    • Perfusionist
  8. Once you've selected your credit type, you can now retrieve and print your certificate:
    1. Scroll down to the SCHEDULE OF EVENTS section below.
    2. Select the day of the session by clicking the appropriate calendar icon below.
    3. After your attended sessions have loaded, scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate the CERTIFICATION section.
    4. Click on the link that matches your selected credit type to download and print your certificate.
  9. To return to the main page and select another session, click on the MY COURSES tab at the top of the page.
  10. Repeat these steps to access your CE/CME credits for each day you have attended sessions.

PLEASE NOTE: If you scanned into two sessions during the same time period, only the second session you attended will appear on your certificate. If you have any issues accessing the sessions or printing your CE/CME certificate, email professionaldevelopment@aabb.org. Please include your name, AABB ID number (if known), program name and a description of the issue you are experiencing.

Certificate of Attendance

  1. Direct your web browser to the AABB Education Website (learning management system).
  2. Enter your AABB username and password and click "Login" (if you do not know your username and/or password follow the links to obtain your username and/or password).
  3. Scroll down the page to the "Schedule of Events" and click on the bar that says "To access your attendance certificate for the 2016 Annual Conference, please click here."

**Please note that these Annual Meeting certificates are for attendance only and do not contain credits for your sessions. To access your credits, please follow the steps outlined above.**

How to Access the 2015 Annual Meeting On-Demand Synced Presentations

Purchased On-Demand Synced Presentations*:

  1. Direct your web browser to the AABB Education Website (learning management system).
  2. On the "My Courses" page, scroll to the "My Enrollments" section and click on "All Courses".
  3. Choose the applicable learning plan by day or full program access.
  4. Once you have selected a Learning Plan, you will see a listing of sessions. Click on any session.
  5. After choosing a session, please select your credit type:
    • California Nurse
    • California Lab Personnel
    • Florida Lab Personnel
    • Physician
    • General Attendee
  6. Enter your license number (applicable to all credit types except General Attendee).
  7. Within the session click on "On-Demand Synced Presentation". The presentation will open in a separate window. All presentations are MP4 files.
  8. Following the presentation, complete the "Evaluation".
  9. Once the Evaluation is submitted, a certificate will be generated in the Transcripts section (tab at top of the page) in the applicable daily or full meeting event. The sessions will also appear separately in the Transcript section but credit(s) and corresponding certificate can be found in the applicable learning plan certificate.
  10. To print your certificate, click on the certificate icon for the applicable learning plan. As you complete more sessions, each session will be added to the applicable learning plan certificate.

Attended the Annual Meeting but did not purchase On-Demand Synced Presentations*:

The sessions you attended and scanned your badge that are available as on-demand will be listed under courses.

  1. Direct your web browser to the AABB Education Website (learning management system).
  2. Under "My Courses" click on "All Courses".
  3. Choose a session by clicking on the applicable course name.
  4. Within the session click on "On-Demand Synced Presentation". The presentation will open in a separate window. All presentations are MP4 files.
  5. Completion of the evaluation is not required as continuing education/continuing medical education credits are not available as they have been provided via scanning your badge.

*Please note: On-Demand Synced Presentations do not include abstracts, opening and closing sessions, research and progress presentations, and industry workshops. Presentations are available at the discretion of the speaker and subject to change without notice. If a session does not appear in your listing, then it is not available as on-demand.

If you have any questions, need assistance accessing your on-demand synced presentation(s) and/or CE/CME certificate, or need your certificate corrected, please email professionaldevelopment@aabb.org.

How to Access PBM Modules/Recorded Webinars

  1. Direct your web browser to the AABB Education Website (learning management system).
  2. Enter your AABB username and password and click “Login” (if you do not know your username and/or password follow the links to obtain your username and/or password).
  3. You will see the course/recorded webinar (program) listed under the tab “My Courses.”
  4. Select the program by clicking the program name and follow the instructions.
  5. Once you have completed the program, complete the evaluation to obtain CE/CME credits. Your CE/CME certificate will be available in the Transcripts tab within the learning management system.

If you have any issues accessing the program or printing your CE/CME certificate, email professionaldevelopment@aabb.org. Please include your name, AABB ID number (if known), program name and the issue you are experiencing.

Assessor Content

Access to selected sessions from the recent AABB Annual Meeting is available for AABB Assessors. To access:

  1. Direct your web browser to the AABB Education Website (learning management system).
  2. On the "My Courses" page, scroll to the "My Enrollments" section and click on "All Courses".
  3. Choose the applicable learning plan by day or full program access.
  4. Once you have selected a Learning Plan, you will see a listing of sessions. Click on any session.
  5. After choosing a session, please select your credit type:
    • California Nurse
    • California Lab Personnel
    • Florida Lab Personnel
    • Physician
    • General Attendee
  6. Enter your license number (applicable to all credit types except General Attendee).
  7. Within the session click on "On-Demand Synced Presentation". The presentation will open in a separate window. All presentations are MP4 files.
  8. Following the presentation, complete the "Evaluation".
  9. Once the Evaluation is submitted, a certificate will be generated in the Transcripts section (tab at top of the page) in the applicable daily or full meeting event. The sessions will also appear separately in the Transcript section but credit(s) and corresponding certificate can be found in the applicable learning plan certificate.
  10. To print your certificate, click on the certificate icon for the applicable learning plan. As you complete more sessions, each session will be added to the applicable learning plan certificate.
