After participating in this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the concept of Damage Control Resuscitation in Trauma.
- Identify how a whole blood program for trauma resuscitation was implemented in adult and pediatric civilian hospitals.
Describe the strategies for damage control and hemostatic resuscitation in trauma patients. A description of how whole blood programs for the resuscitation of adult and pediatric trauma patients in two civilian hospitals will be provided.
