After participating in this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify uses of antibody titration.
- Choose titration techniques that best match the clinical indication.
- Choose the proper antibody titration technique/proper cells and interpret challenging cases.
- Discuss the limitation to testing titer in OB setting.
Antibody titrations can be helpful in-patient management in the setting of pregnancy, hematopoietic transplant, solid organ transplant, and in the work-up of complex antibody cases. Antibody titration technique can vary. The speaker will discuss various titer techniques and their applications, provide more in-depth discussion of titer application in the prenatal setting and provide case studies.
