- Explain the benefits of offering incompatible solid organ transplants.
- Define antibody and antigen testing necessary for an ABOi solid organ program.
- Define HLA testing in the setting of solid organ transplants.
- Discuss challenges to HLA testing in the setting of ABOi solid organ transplants.
This program is designed to offer insights into a successful ABO incompatible solid organ transplant program. Pre and post clinical management of recipients, including HLA and ABO laboratory testing to qualify and monitor recipients and donors will be discussed.
