GROW | PROTECT | PREPARE
On March 20, in Scottsdale, AZ, the NBF convened health care executives for an open dialogue on several key topics the industry wrestles with.
The informative and interactive meeting provided attendees with the tools to better:
- Assess the effect IT security, the ACA and reimbursement models may have on your business.
- Apply systems to prepare and manage emergencies using perspectives gained from a hospital and a regional coalition.
- Determine opportunities and challenges involved in implementing new business lines, learning from fellow executives and thought-leaders.
- Employ practical solutions that grow, protect and prepare industry organizations for the future.
The morning began with a networking breakfast on the Desert Terrace of the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch. Afterwards, attendees convened in the Arizona Ballroom for sessions exploring business model innovation within a value-based health care framework, industry diversification in cell processing, IT security and Medicare reimbursement and alternative payment models. Everyone enjoyed lunch with the experts on the Desert Terrace to maximize their networking opportunities. After lunch, executives settled in to learn from varying perspectives on disaster response and recovery: hospital emergency preparedness, regional coalition organization, state and local government collaboration and supply chain impact and recovery. The Forum concluded with a closing reception where the day’s conversations continued.
