AABB Leadership & Management Collection

In an effort to engage the current and next generation of professionals with education on core concepts necessary to cultivate effective leaders, the Leadership & Administrative Subsection of the AABB Transfusion Medicine Section has hand-selected relevant leadership and management programs and compiled them into one collection.

This compilation aims to enhance leadership and management skills with a focus on managing resources, leading staff and best practices. It is not only applicable for seasoned leaders, but also for those new to a leadership role and those interested in stepping into a leadership role in the future.

Curriculum/Content

This collection contains 31 select presentations from prior AABB Annual Meetings as well as on-demand eCasts. It also includes select chapters from AABB publications. For a complete listing of all the content available, jump to the “Content Overview” section.

Program Format

The program consists of 31 on-demand recordings in varying lengths covering the three main topic areas. This program is housed in the AABB Education Platform. Learners will have unlimited access to the content for up to 2 years.

Assessments

There are no assessments provided with this offering. This is a collection of educational programs where learners can review the content as many times as they want during their access period.

Registration Fee & Process

After registering for the program, each learner will receive access to all the content in the collection. This program is for individuals and discounts for multiple registrations are available (group viewing is not available).

Individual Registration Pricing:

  • AABB Individual Member: $79
  • Individual Nonmember: $99

Discount for Multiple Registrations:
Institutions will receive 15% off the list price when purchasing 4 or more registrations. The list price for each student will be determined by the institution’s AABB membership status.

How To Register

Individuals can register online via the AABB Store. If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one. Payment confirmation will be provided immediately after registering.

Institutions that want to purchase registrations for students must complete and return the registration form. Payment confirmation will be provided within 2-5 business days.

What to Expect

After registering for the program, you will receive a receipt for your purchase. You will be able to access the program via the AABB Education Platform immediately upon purchase. You will be able to watch the videos as many times as you like as well as downloading the provided resources within the access period. Access is granted for up to 2 years.

Continuing Education Credit

This activity is eligible for 37.75 continuing education credits for Physicians (credit available through March 11, 2024) and California Nurse and 39 continuing education credit/contact hours for California Lab Personnel, Florida Lab Personnel and General Participation credit. AABB reserves the right to reduce or increase the number of credits. For more information on each credit type please visit our Continuing Education Credits webpage. Please note: there are no continuing education credits available for the publication chapters.
