FDA Releases Agenda for Regulatory Education for Industry Annual Conference
June 07, 2021
The Food and Drug Administration recently released the
agenda for the
Regulatory Education for Industry (REdI) Annual Conference, which will take place virtually July 19-23. This complimentary conference allows attendees to learn from the FDA’s regulatory experts in medical product centers and provides participants with a basic foundation in FDA’s regulatory requirements.
The conference includes tracks focused on drugs, devices and biologics. The biologics track will highlight the development of advanced therapies, including cellular and tissue-based products, gene therapies, plasma-derived therapeutics, and devices regulated by the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. Speakers will discuss different aspects of product development. The plenary session will reflect on FDA’s use of emergency use authorizations and other resources in making drug, device and biological products available to support the public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
