Guinea Declares End to Ebola Outbreak

Health officials in Guinea declared an end to the Ebola virus outbreak that began in the country in February, the World Health Organization
announced on Saturday. The outbreak began in the country’s N’zerekore prefecture, the same region where the 2014–16 outbreak first emerged. It led to 16 confirmed cases, seven probable cases and 12 deaths.
