AABB is pleased to announce that our new name and logo will be unveiled during the General Session at the 2021 AABB Virtual Annual Meeting. This effort will kick off a top-to-bottom rebranding of the Association that honors our past, reflects our present, and plans for our future.
AABB invites all members of our community to join us at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday, Oct.17, for this historic announcement. The announcement will also be streamed live on Facebook for those not attending the meeting.
The unveiling of our new name and logo is the culmination of a process that began several years ago with “Reimagine AABB," a campaign that solicited feedback from our members about the future of the Association. AABB owes a debt of thanks to the many members of our community who contributed important ideas and suggestions. The General Session of the 2021 AABB Annual Meeting will mark the beginning of the next phase of our Association’s journey and will demonstrate our continued commitment to meeting our community’s needs in the United States and throughout the world.
“This year’s Annual Meeting could not come at a more important time,” said Dave Green, AABB President. “In addition to the critical science and education programming that are a hallmark of every Annual Meeting, this year’s unveiling of our new name and logo will provide even more meaning to what is always a very special event. This rebranding marks the next stage of our evolution as an Association while remaining committed to the core values that have shaped us for the past 75 years. I can’t wait to share this moment with my fellow AABB members.”
