AABB Assessor Vaccination Policy Now in Effect

AABB’s vaccination policy for volunteer assessors took effect Jan. 4. The updated policy applies to COVID-19 vaccinations that have been authorized for use, including those that have received an Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

AABB now requires that all AABB volunteer assessors be fully vaccinated according to the most current guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (and where applicable, World Health Organization guidelines). As part of this policy, all AABB volunteer assessors must provide proof of current vaccination status to accreditation@aabb.org. Volunteer assessors who remain unvaccinated will be eligible to participate in virtual assessments.
