The Smart-Up Manufacturing Group (SMG) focuses on meeting the needs of small and startup cell therapy manufacturers. The forum provides an opportunity to network and collaborate on projects in the precompetitive space. The group meets virtually to discuss key topics and unique challenges. The SMG aims to provide resources, like the Smart-Up Regulatory Tool Kit, and discuss common challenges including, but not limited to, application of standards in the commercial setting, application of phase appropriate good manufacturing processes, and training and workforce development challenges. The SMG meets second Thursdays of the month at 2pm EST.
