International Participants
Please note: the GoToWebinar confirmation email for live eCasts also provides call in information for most non-US locations. Simply click on the link, “Calling from another country?” to obtain the call-in number for your country. If your country is not listed, you will need to use your computer speakers (VoIP).

eCast Handouts

eCast Single Viewers and Group Viewing Coordinators will be provided via email all eCast materials/handouts the day prior to the live program date but at times may be provided the morning of the program. Access to the handout(s) is also available in the Handouts section of the GoToWebinar platform accessed during the live program. The handout can be used to take notes throughout the program and draft questions to submit during the question and answer session.

For on-demand eCasts, the handout(s) is available on the AABB Education website for registered participants.

Group Viewing Coordinator Responsibilities

As a Group Viewing Coordinator, you play an integral and critical role in hosting an AABB live or on-demand eCast.

  1. Obtain a room for the program (live or on-demand).
  2. Arrange for the necessary equipment.
  3. Make available the attendance log for participants to complete and sign.
  4. Access the program:
    • Live eCast: log into the GoToWebinar platform via the unique access link via computer at least 15 minutes before the start of the live eCast. First time access may take a few minutes.
    • On-Demand eCast: log into the AABB Education website to access the on-demand eCast at least 15 minutes before your start time. AABB recommends logging in and accessing the handouts and presentation in advance of bringing your group together.
  5. Telephone the number provided on your screen (and provided via email) at least 10 minutes before the start of the live program. You will be able to connect to the audio using your computer’s microphone and speakers (VoIP) or if you prefer to use a speakerphone, you must select “Use Telephone” after joining the eCast and use the numbers provided on the screen (also provided via email).
  6. Post questions to the speaker(s) utilizing the GoToWebinar chat function (instructions will be provided during the eCast).
  7. Submit participant list to AABB within 72 hours of the completion of an eCast (live or on-demand) so AABB may provide attendees their personalized credits and attendance certificates. A review of the attendance log prior to submission is requested as if any information is incomplete, credit(s) will not be provided to the applicable participant(s). Coming in 2018: Group Viewing Coordinators will also be required to provide the list of participants with the credit request and AABB account information in an excel file in addition to attendance log with signatures. All eCast participants will be required to have an AABB account. More information on this requirement will be communicated in advance.

Access: Live eCast

Approximately 1 week prior to the eCast, registered single viewers and Group Viewing Coordinators will be emailed instructions to complete the registration process for the eCast. The Single Viewer purchaser and the Group Viewing Coordinator will be required to “sign up” on the GoToWebinar platform. You must complete the GoToWebinar registration to participate on the eCast. You will be provided a link and required to enter your name, email address, organization, continuing education credit type to be issued upon attendance verification (Group Viewing Coordinators should select “N/A – I will submit an attendance log”) and applicable license number. Once signed up, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the eCast that is unique to you. Reminder emails with log in information will be provided again 1 day and 1 hour prior to the eCast once signed up in GoToWebinar.

Distribution of the GoToWebinar link is strictly prohibited. Only one participant registration/log-on is allowed per single viewer or group viewing registration unless you have purchased additional sites. AABB reviews attendance participation and individuals/groups will be billed at the full price of an eCast if logged on but have not registered.

Access: On-Demand eCast

On-Demand eCasts are housed on the AABB Education Website. Access instructions will be provided via email approximately 7-10 business days after the live program has occurred and the on-demand version is available. If registering after the live program date has occurred, access information will be provided via email within 1-2 business days. In general, on-demand eCasts are available for access for up to three years from when the live program occurred.

Single Viewer On-Demand eCast is available for the registrant to access the on-demand version of the eCast. Once registered and access is provided via email, registered participants will have up to three years from the live program date (applicable to most on-demand eCasts) to access and view the program. On-Demand eCasts are available for three years from the live program date at which time the program is no longer available for viewing.

Group Viewing On-Demand eCast  is available for the registered group/facility to access the program unlimited times for up to three years from the live program date. Access is provided via email and duration of access is dependent on when a group/facility registers. A single log-in will be provided to the Group Viewing Coordinator.

Group Viewing Coordinators should refer to the requirements noted above to host an On-Demand eCast. Upon completion of viewing the on-demand presentation, the group viewing coordinator will be required to email the attendance log to If a participant also attended the live program the Group Viewing Coordinator will be required to remove that participant from the on-demand attendance log as double credits is not allowed. By submitting the attendance log, the group viewing coordinator attests that each participant watched the presentation in its entirety. Once AABB receives the attendance log, each participant listed will be emailed an evaluation to complete. See Continuing Education Credit Certificates below for certificate availability.

Single Viewer registrants will be granted continuing education credit (if applicable) after participating in a live eCast and completion of a program evaluation provided via email. The applicable certificate, also provided via email will be based on the type of continuing education credit requested when signing up in GoToWebinar.

Single Viewer registrants will be granted continuing education credit (if applicable) after watching the on-demand presentation and completion of an evaluation. Once the evaluation is submitted, a certificate will be generated in the Transcripts section of the AABB Education Website.

Group Viewing participants will be granted continuing education credit (if applicable) after participating in the live or on-demand eCast, completion of the attendance log with all requested information and Group Viewing Coordinators submission of the attendance log to AABB within 72 hours of the live or on-demand program date. Once an attendance log is submitted, participants will receive a link to complete a program evaluation. Certificates will be emailed to the participants with a copy to the Group Viewing Coordinator. If you do not receive a certificate within 7 weeks from the live or on-demand program date, please contact your Group Viewing Coordinator.
