How long have you been at AABB?

I’ve been working at AABB since January 2022.

What is your job title? What does your job entail?

My job title is Consulting & Technical Projects Director. I connect clients with various needs to AABB’s expert consultants who can help develop solutions to address their challenges. I am also responsible for cultivating new ideas and projects from the blood and biotherapies field to strengthen and expand the work of AABB.

What made you interested in pursuing a career at AABB?

I have been involved with AABB throughout my career, serving as a member, volunteer assessor, participant on working groups and even a presenter at a past AABB Annual Meeting. I welcomed the opportunity to join the Association and apply my knowledge and years of experience in blood banking and transfusion medicine.

How did your previous work experience prepare you for your current role at AABB?

Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles in blood centers, gained experience in clinical management and also managed a hospital laboratory and transfusion service. I believe my previous work has prepared me to approach this role from a broader perspective.
