AABB Accepting Nominations for 2023-24 Board of Directors

February 03, 2023

The 2023 AABB Nominating Committee is charged with preparing a slate of nominees for the open officer and at-large director positions on the AABB Board of Directors to ensure the Board will have the leadership and expertise it requires to carry out its responsibilities, consistent with the Association’s mission and strategic plan.

The Nominating Committee is pleased to invite all AABB individual and institutional members to submit nominations for candidates to serve on the 2023-24 Board of Directors.

The Committee will consider nominees for four at-large director positions. Members are encouraged to nominate themselves or any other qualified AABB member to serve on the Board.

To be considered, nominees should send a letter of interest describing their willingness to serve, along with a brief description of their qualifications and a current CV. Additionally, nominees should send responses to the following questions:

  • What do you see as the two most critical priorities for AABB during the next year? What role would you play in addressing these priorities if elected to the Board?
  • AABB is a diverse organization representing professionals and institutions engaged in blood banking, transfusion medicine, biotherapies and other related fields. Please describe how you would enrich the diversity of the Board.

Interested individuals should submit nominations to trawls@aabb.org by 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Feb. 28. AABB members may contact AABB General Counsel Diane Killion with questions about the nominations process.
