CDC Announces April 12-13 CLIAC Meeting

The next meeting of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Advisory Committee (CLIAC) will take place virtually April 12-13. The agenda will include agency updates from CDC, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Food and Drug Administration. Presentations and CLIAC discussions will focus on reports from two CLIAC workgroups: the CLIA Regulations Assessment Workgroup and the CLIA Certificate of Waiver and Certificate for Provider-performed Microscopy Procedures Workgroup. The meeting will also focus on the laboratory's role in advancing health equity.

Members of the public may present oral or written comments pertinent to agenda items. Instructions are available in the Federal Register notice.
