AABB Encourages Early-Career Professionals to Take Advantage of Mentoring Program

AABB encourages early-career professionals or those new to the field to take advantage of the AABB Mentoring Program. Connecting with a mentor can help early-career professionals gain knowledge and form connections that add value at every stage of their careers. Right now, seasoned members of the blood banking, transfusion medicine and biotherapies community are ready and waiting to share their experience, time and talent with the next generation of AABB members.

The informal, six-month program pairs experienced AABB members with colleagues who have worked in blood banking, transfusion medicine or biotherapies for less than five years. Mentors and mentees communicate at least once per month by phone. Individuals interested in being paired with a mentor can complete an online application.
