The Community Blood Center Names New Vice President, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs

The Community Blood Center (CBC) announced on Monday that Kristy Shrewsbury will join its senior leadership team as the organization’s first vice president, quality assurance and regulatory affairs. In this new role, Shrewsbury will focus on enhancing CBC’s comprehensive quality assurance plan and serve as the corporate contact for all regulatory and accreditation agencies.

Shrewsbury has more than 10 years of blood center experience and has served in both quality assurance and operational support leadership roles. Most recently, she has been focused on process improvement and quality validation in the pharmaceutical field.
