UPS to Acquire MNX Global Logistics

UPS, one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in the world, announced yesterday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire MNX Global Logistics (MNX), a global life science shipping provider. MNX is well known in the blood and biotherapies community for its time- and temperature-sensitive shipping of blood components, cord blood, cell and gene therapies, lab specimens, organs and tissue.

Through the acquisition, UPS seeks to expand its global health care and time-critical capabilities and meet the growing demand for these services in the health care industry. UPS expects the acquisition to close by the end of 2023.
