Blood Assurance Appoints Liz Culler as New President and CEO

Liz Culler, MD, has been named as the new president and CEO of Blood Assurance. Culler, who previously served as Blood Assurance’s chief medical officer, has worked for the facility since 2006. Culler is replacing J.B. Gaskins, who is retiring in a few months following a career of more than 40 years in the blood community.

Culler holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and a doctor of medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. During her years at Blood Assurance, Culler has been instrumental in the facility’s expansion, including in the establishment of its research and cellular therapy program.
