Next AABB Virtual Journal Club Begins Tuesday

The first AABB Virtual Journal Club discussion of 2024 begins Tuesday and will focus on a recent report in Transfusion that examined the quality of platelet concentrates produced by apheresis procedures, platelet rich plasma and buffy coat.

Moderators Daniela Hermelin, MD, CABP; Chloe Homich, MLS(ASCP)^CM, SBB^CM; and Maria Roussakis, MLT, MSc, will moderate this edition of the discussion, which will take place over 24 hours through two live chats on AABB’s Twitter/X page.

The first live chat will take place at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 26, followed by a second live chat at 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday, March 27. AABB encourages those in the community to attend the live discussions or contribute their perspectives asynchronously using the #AABBjc hashtag.
