Reminder: NHLBI Community Conversation to Focus on Building a More Diverse Blood Donor Community

AABB is pleased to partner with the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s (NHLBI) Blood Diseases and Disorders Education Program to host a community conversation about the latest in blood donor eligibility and the new individual donor assessment (IDA) screening process.

The program will bring together Julie Panepinto, MD, director of the Division of Blood Diseases and Resources at the NHLBI; Sharon Carayiannis, MT(ASCP)HP, vice president of Science and Practice at AABB; and Pete Lux, RN, vice president of Donor and Patient Services at ImpactLife.

The program will take place via Facebook Live at 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 19. The program is complimentary to attend, and there is no registration necessary.
