BioBridge Global, an AABB corporate partner, celebrated the opening of the organization’s first stand-alone cell therapy testing laboratory on March 1. This lab will focus on safety, potency and purity testing; identifying and characterizing therapies to fight a range of ailments from wounds to cancer; and testing starting materials for use in the early stages of advanced therapy development. The lab will begin with a team of five, and the organization plans to add two additional scientists this year.
