Co-Author of Bloody Brilliant to Host Book Signing at 2024 AABB Annual Meeting

AABB is excited to announce that Marion E. Reid, FIMBS, PhD, DSc (Hon.), the 2024 recipient of AABB’s distinguished Bernard Fantus Lifetime Achievement Medal and the co-author of Bloody Brilliant! A History of Blood Groups and Blood Groupers, will participate in a special book signing event during the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting in Houston. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet Reid, an internationally recognized expert in immunohematology, and have their copies of the book signed.

Bloody Brilliant explores the history and advancements in blood grouping, making it a must-read for professionals in blood banking and transfusion medicine. The book signing will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT in the AABB Bookstore, offering attendees a chance to engage with one of the most distinguished leaders in the field.
