Leadership and Administrative Subsection to Host Leadership Panel at 2024 AABB Annual Meeting

AABB’s Leadership and Administrative Subsection will host a panel discussion on leadership at the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas.

Leaders from across the blood and biotherapies community will share insights on the future of leadership, offer leader-to-leader advice, and explore building and maintaining culture from a leadership perspective.

AABB is pleased to welcome the following speakers:  

• Debra BenAvram, FASAE, CAE, CEO of AABB.
• Becky Cap, MBA, senior vice president of biotherapies at Vitalant.
• Wen Lu, MD, medical director of the Center for Regenerative Biotherapeutics and Transfusion Medicine Consultant at the Mayo Clinic, and member of the AABB Board of Directors.
• Aasawari Bapat, MBBS, DPB, CPS, PGDHHM, CABP) (H), DABRM, FABRM, AABB ambassador and chair of the Committee for the Evaluation of International Variances.

The panel will take place at 12 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Room 361B of the George R. Brown Convention Center. All meeting attendees are welcome. Those who would like to attend should contact Christoper Bocquet at standards@aabb.org.
