Cryoport and Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center Form Alliance to Expand Cellular Therapy Services

Cryoport, an AABB corporate partner, and Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center (GCRBC), an AABB institutional member, announced a strategic alliance aimed at enhancing access to cryopreserved, manufacture-ready allogeneic leukopaks for cellular therapy research, development and treatment.

This partnership combines GCRBC's Cellular Life Solutions program—which focuses on allogeneic donor recruitment, management and apheresis collection—with Cryoport's cryopreservation and biologistics capabilities. Together, the collaboration aims to offer an integrated service solution for the life sciences sector.

The alliance coincides with the opening of Cryoport's IntegriCell facility, a new cryopreservation center located on Cryoport's supply chain campus in Houston, Texas.
