Early-Bird Registration for 2025 AABB Annual Meeting Ends July 30

July 09, 2025

Early-bird registration for the 2025 AABB Annual Meeting, the blood and biotherapies field’s premier event, ends July 30. Individuals who register by the early-bird deadline will save up to $300 on the cost of full-meeting registration and gain early access to preferred hotel accommodation and limited-capacity events.

This year’s meeting will bring community members from throughout the world to San Diego, Oct. 25-28, to connect, network, learn and advance the field. This year’s educational program features more than 125 expert-led education sessions on the most critical topics in blood banking, transfusion medicine, cord blood and other biotherapies. Highlights include expert-led sessions on artificial intelligence, transfusion reactions, blood sustainability and joint sessions with the THOR Network, the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) and the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI).

This year, AABB will also host the Cord Blood Connect education program as part of the Annual Meeting. The cord blood agenda will explore new frontiers in mesenchymal stem cells, cord blood transplantation, and the latest opportunities and challenges in the field.

The meeting will continue to spotlight practice-changing research, including guided poster tours, expanded oral abstract presentations and the return of abstract “spotlight sessions” featuring key voices in transfusion medicine and biotherapies.

AABB encourages the blood and biotherapies community to visit the Annual Meeting web page to learn more about special events, networking opportunities and the Exhibit Hall.
