AABB Case Study Highlights CABP Credential’s Impact Across Biotherapies

AABB released a new case study this week featuring six professionals who have completed AABB’s Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professional (CABP) Credentialing Program. The case study explores what motivated each CABP to pursue the credential and how it has influenced their work, their organizations and the field.

Each of the case study’s experts represents a different area of biotherapies, offering insight into how the credentialing program supports professional growth and strengthens expertise across the field:

  • Translational Research: Linda Peltier, PhD, RN, CABP, laboratory manager, Cellular Therapy Laboratory Research Institute, McGill University Health Center.
  • Manufacturing and CMC: Amanda Conerty, CABP, executive director, manufacturing, advocacy and engagement, Artiva Biotherapeutics.
  • Quality Assurance and Supply Chain: Siddarth Krishnan, MS, MBA, CABP, associate director, supplier and material quality, ElevateBio.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Jared Schuster, HTL(ASCP), CABP, regulatory affairs specialist, NMDP (formerly known as the National Marrow Donor Program).
  • Practicing Physician: Gaurav Gupta, MD, PhD, CABP, transfusion medicine and cell therapy physician; director, apheresis service, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
  • Medical Director: Kevin Land, MD, CABP, executive medical director, biotherapies, and vice president of clinical services, Vitalant.
