Meghan DelaneyGreetings colleagues,

Welcome to the new AABB News online platform. We are thrilled to unveil the brand-new digital home for our association’s monthly publication. The April issue delves into various aspects of expanding biotherapies, from the growing role of pharmacies in this field to increasing access to cell and gene therapy products. Our Association is deeply committed to ensuring patients have access to safe blood transfusions and biotherapies, and we will continue to work alongside the biotherapies community to develop proactive policy solutions that support patient access and advance the availability of these transformative therapies.

The patient story in this issue emphasizes the impact of biotherapies, highlighting the essential work and research being done in our field every day. Sonia Su, a CAR T-cell therapy recipient, shares her journey as a three-time cancer survivor and how she reclaimed her life after immunotherapy. She expressed her gratitude for the dedication within our field. Her courageous story of survivorship and hope serves as a reminder of the importance of our work and advocacy efforts.
