Building Quality, Regulatory Convergence and a Shared Future for Biotherapies

Translational medicine converts laboratory discoveries into safe, effective and accessible clinical practice, becoming the defining infrastructure of contemporary science. It plays a central role in bringing advances in genomics, cell and gene therapy, regenerative medicine and advanced biotherapies to patients who need them.
Around the world, research is accelerating the path from bench to bedside, compressing timelines that once spanned decades into years, transforming hematology-oncology, transfusion medicine and cellular therapies as some of the most dynamic frontiers in medicine.
Advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), CAR-T, other cell-based immunotherapies and next-generation biologics are now embedded in oncology, hematology and regenerative programs worldwide. International organizations such as AABB, the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy and the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation continue to refine the standards governing the procurement, manufacturing, safety and clinical use of these therapies.
