Of Note: BBG Advanced Therapies Unveils World's First Mobile Leukapheresis Center

BBG Advanced Therapies, a division of BioBridge Global, has launched the world’s first mobile leukapheresis center, a fully self-contained, accreditation-ready unit that brings immune cell collection directly to communities in South Texas

Building on South Texas Blood & Tissue Center’s experience with mobile blood collection and fixed-site leukapheresis, BBG Advanced Therapies developed the platform to deliver consistent, high-quality cell collections in a controlled, validated environment. An expert team travels with the unit to ensure seamless integration at each location. The approach also aims to meet good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards to support the needs of clinical and commercial programs.
