AABB Releases Two New Biotherapies Publications

AABB is pleased to announce the release of two new publications to assist professionals working in cellular therapies and biotherapies.

For students and trainees, AABB published Stem Cell Collection, Infusion and Transfusion Support: A Primer. This foundational resource addresses major cell therapy topics with clear and direct explanations, graphic aids and highlighted key concepts. The publication also includes a robust list of references and an appendix of abbreviations to assist readers now and later in their careers. This publication in print and digital editions.

AABB is also pleased to release the second edition of Cellular Therapy: A Handbook. Editors Jose Cancelas, MD, PhD; Nicholas Bandarenko, MD; and a panel of expert authors have recreated the new edition of this popular AABB publication to bring readers the most recent developments and pressing topics in the biotherapies field.

This text addresses the biology of hematopoietic transplantation, processing and storage of cryopreserved and non-cryopreserved products, clinical aspects of HSCT and much more. Each chapter provides concise explanations and illustrations, along with reference lists with resources for further study.
