Reminder: AABB Accepting Questions for Assessor Town Hall at 2025 AABB Annual Meeting

AABB encourages members of the blood and biotherapies community to submit questions for the assessor town hall, “Accreditation Readiness: Get Ready and Stay Ready," taking place during the 2025 AABB Annual Meeting in San Diego. 

In this session, representatives from AABB’s Accreditation Department will answer questions from assessors and member facilities about accreditation readiness. The accreditation team welcomes questions from the following categories:

• Cultural awareness for international assessments.
• Feedback from post-assessment questionnaires.
• Pre-assessment processes, including the desk assessment.
• Use of the assessment tool during on-site visits.

The accreditation team will also address questions about the assessor or accreditation program and provide guidance on navigating standards and regulatory issues that may arise during an assessment.

AABB invites meeting attendees to submit questions to accreditation@aabb.org by Friday, Oct. 10. The town hall will take place Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. PT.
