DHA Plans $4 Million Investment in Domestic Blood Bag Manufacturing

The Defense Health Agency (DHA), through the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC), announced an upcoming funding opportunity to support the domestic manufacture of single blood donor collection and storage bags. The $4 million effort aims to strengthen U.S. supply chains and ensure rapid access to blood bags for use by the Armed Services Blood Program, far-forward medical services and civilian blood services.
