Texoma Regional Blood Center Merges With Carter BloodCare

Two Texas-based AABB members, Carter BloodCare and Texoma Regional Blood Center, announced a merger last month. Texoma Regional Blood Center will continue to serve Sherman, Texas and the surrounding Grayson, Fannin and Cooke counties as part of Carter BloodCare.

The partnership combines 27 neighborhood donor centers, 25–30 daily mobile blood drives and a fleet of more than 110 donor and distribution vehicles. Together, the organizations support more than 225 hospitals across 59 counties in Texas.
