ASPR Releases 2026-29 Strategic Plan

The Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, released its 2026–29 strategic plan on Friday. The plan outlines goals to strengthen the ASPR workforce and reinforce a “One ASPR” culture; enhance preparedness through state, local, tribal and territorial resiliency; execute rapid, efficient and adaptive federal response activities; secure the nation’s medical supply chain; and address emerging health security threats through evidence-based research.
