Quality and Regulatory Subsection to Host Training and Competency Session

AABB’s Quality and Regulatory Subsection will include a training and competency session during its next meeting, scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Friday.

The session, led by Erica Swenson, DO; and Dylan Drapeau, MLS, will review CAP and AABB requirements for training and competency at accredited facilities, outline the core components of an effective training plan and discuss approaches for monitoring completion, documenting compliance and managing record retention. The presenters will also walk through a sample training plan to illustrate practical application.

The session is open to subsection members. AABB members may enroll in the subsection online and contact standards@aabb.org for meeting information.
