AABB Receives ASAE Silver Power of Associations Award for CABP Program

AABB received a 2026 American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Silver Power of Associations Award for its Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professional (CABP) Credentialing Program. The award recognizes AABB’s leadership in addressing the need for skilled cell and gene therapy workforce to safely deliver advanced biotherapies.

Developed with contributions from more than 50 volunteer experts, the CABP program provides study resources, educational tools and a certification examination designed to establish a shared benchmark for competency across manufacturing, clinical care, quality, regulatory affairs and research. Individuals who successfully complete the exam earn the CABP credential.
