FDA Publishes Notice on Agency Reorganization

The Food and Drug Administration has published a Federal Register notice outlining an agencywide reorganization, including changes to internal structure, reporting relationships and delegations of authority. The reorganization will take effect Oct. 1.

AABB is reviewing the notice to understand its full scope and will share an update with any implications for blood banking, transfusion medicine and biotherapies.
