Donor History Task Force Oversight

The Full-Length Donor History Questionnaire and the Abbreviated Donor History Questionnaire sets were prepared and are maintained by the AABB Donor History Task Force (DHTF) which is comprised of volunteer representatives from:

• AABB Membership
• American Red Cross
• America's Blood Centers
• Armed Services Blood Program
• Canadian Blood Services
• Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
• Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association
• Liaisons from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
• A public ethicist

The DHTF ensures that the documents remain current by:

• incorporating updated FDA guidance recommendations and AABB Standards requirements, and
• obtaining feedback from users to improve functionality
