Voting Opens for Transfusion Medicine Subsection Coordinating Committee

The election to fill the leadership positions for the Plasma Antibody Network (PLAN) and the Transfusion Safety Officer and Patient Blood Management Subsection of the Transfusion Medicine Section Coordinating Committee (TMSCC) is now open.

Section members will vote to reelect several individuals to three-year terms, including the TMSCC chair, the chair of the Clinical Hemotherapy Subsection, an at-large member, and the other TMSCC chairs noted above.

Ballots are available online, and voting is open to all members of the TM Section. AABB reminds members that only those in the PLAN and the Transfusion Safety Officer and Patient Blood Management Subsection may vote for their respective subsection leads.

Voting closes at midnight on Thursday, Oct. 23. AABB will announce winners on Monday, Oct. 27, during the TMSCC business meeting at the 2025 AABB Annual Meeting in San Diego.
