2025 Annual Meeting Begins Next Saturday; Registration Still Available

Registration is still available for the 2025 AABB Annual Meeting, which begins Saturday, Oct. 25, in San Diego.

This year’s education program features more than 125 expert-led education sessions on the most critical topics in blood banking, transfusion medicine, cord blood and other biotherapies. Highlights include a debate on the use of whole blood in modern transfusion practice, sessions on organoids in research and biotherapies and a hot topic update on AABB’s new platelet and red blood cell transfusion guidelines.

This year’s meeting will also feature half-day prehospital transfusion workshop, career fair and joint sessions with the THOR Network, the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT), the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) and the International Council for Commonality in Blood Banking Automation (ICCBBA).
