AABB Foundation Now Accepting 2027 Grant Applications

The AABB Foundation has opened the application period for its 2027 grant cycle. The Foundation is now accepting grant applications for both its Early-Career Scientific Research Grants Program and its Process Development Grant Program.

The AABB Foundation’s Early-Career Scientific Research Grants Program awards funding for investigator-initiated original research in all aspects of blood banking, transfusion medicine and biotherapies. The AABB Foundation’s Process Development Grants Program awards funding to projects designed to enhance operational efficiency through the development, implementation, and outcomes analysis of innovative processes, techniques or technologies.

To date, the AABB Foundation has awarded more than $12 million in grants to fund the research work of more than 200 scientists. The AABB Foundation’s 2027 grant cycle will be accepting applications through Dec. 1.
