AABB to Celebrate PBM Awareness Week

AABB is proud to join organizations across the blood community next week to celebrate Patient Blood Management (PBM) Awareness Week.

Taking place Nov. 2-6 this year, PBM Awareness Week is sponsored by the Society for the Advancement of Patient Blood Management (SABM) and is designed to advance awareness among health care professionals about patient blood management.

AABB is dedicated to increasing public and professional understanding of how PBM can improve patient outcomes. To support this effort, AABB provides various PBM-related resources on its website and publishes evidence-based best practices through the Standards for a Patient Blood Management Program.
