Speaker Resource Center

Welcome to the 2026 AABB Annual Meeting Speaker Resource Center, designed to support presenters with essential information, requirements, and tools for a successful presentation.

All speakers will be required to:

  • Attest to having read, understood, and agree to the 2026 Speaker Standards & Presentation Guidelines (PDF).
  • Check in to the Speaker Ready Room at least four hours in advance of their presentation. Please see the online program for hours and location.

If you have any questions about your presentation that are not answered below or in the Speaker Standards & Presentation Guidelines, please contact professionaldevelopment@aabb.org.

Education Session Formats

Speakers should coordinate presentation times and topics with their session's Program Chair. The formats below serve solely as a guide.

Educational Session Presentation Time (60 minutes):

  • Introduction from Program Chair - 5 minutes
  • Speaker #1 - 20 minutes
  • Speaker #2 - 20 minutes
  • Question and Answer Portion - 15 minutes

Educational Session Presentation Time (75 minutes):

  • Introduction from Program Chair - 5 minutes
  • Speaker #1 - 15-20 minutes
  • Speaker #2 - 15-20 minutes
  • Speaker #3 - 15-20 minutes
  • Question and Answer Portion - 15 minutes

Oral Abstract Session Formats

Individual oral presentation time is dependent on the number of abstracts in each session. Please check the live schedule or email professionaldevelopment@aabb.org to confirm the amount of time per oral abstract.

4 Abstracts - Oral Abstract Session Presentation Time (60 minutes):

  • Introduction by Moderator - 5 minutes
  • Presenting Author #1 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #2 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #3 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #4 - 10 minutes
  • Question and Answer Portion - 15 minutes

5 Abstracts - Oral Abstract Session Presentation Time (75 minutes):

  • Introduction from Program Chair - 5 minutes
  • Presenting Author #1 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #2 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #3 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #4 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #5 - 10 minutes
  • Question and Answer Portion - 20 minutes

Oral Abstract Spotlight Session Formats

Spotlight Session with three (3) abstracts (75 minutes):

  • Introduction & State-of-the-Science (Moderator/Spotlight Speaker) - 30 minutes
  • Presenting Author #1 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #2 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #3 - 10 minutes
  • Question and Answer Portion - 15 minutes

Spotlight Session with four (4) abstracts (75 Minutes):

  • Introduction & State-of-the-Science (Moderator/Spotlight Speaker) - 20 minutes
  • Presenting Author #1 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #2 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #3 - 10 minutes
  • Presenting Author #4 - 10 minutes
  • Question and Answer Portion - 15 minutes

Plenary Oral Abstract Session Format

Plenary Oral Abstract Session (75 minutes):

  • Introduction & Awards - 20 minutes
